Road Trip.
The Pale Horse Texas Tour/ shakedown cruise gets underway tonight about 7:00pm when we shove off for Dickinson.
Won't that look übercool? TWO, count 'em TWO 80's model 300TDs in a convoy! Hot Damn! |
R Leo,
Nothing like the 20 300SEL6.3, 2 450SEL6.9 and a 600 MB convoy like the M100 Group had at their meet last year. P E H |
Give it up Queenie, that wasn't all of the convoy, was it?

R Leo,
I don't understand you repl, Kingie. P E H |
PEH,
It seems to me that a convoy sporting 8893.8+ cubic inches of gasoline engine displacement might need a little help here and there. I'd sure like to have seen it anyway! |
R Leo,
Now I get it. They were going south at 75 MPH on the NE PA Turnpile, each only about 1/2 way open. My 6.3 isn't too bad on fuel if I didn't push it. I could get 18 MPG with reasonable driving but only 7 MPG wide open. That's 20 GPH. Guess that's why the fuel lines are so large. P E H |
R Leo, you should post pictures!!!
I am beggining a road trip in 3 weeks from NC to CA in my '85 300TD! Eric |
R Leo,
Warum hat dein Pferd keinen Name? Wie reden Sie mit Ihrer Pferd wen er keinen Name hat? Ich habe immer gedacht das einen Pferd ohne Name gleich Uhu wird. Viel Glueck mit der Reise! Jim |
Sie sprechen das Babelfish?

Jim,
Viel Dank. Das Pferd ohne Namen empfängt einen Namen nach Ankunft in New York. Es wird dem Freund von Seth, Fräulein Natalie versieht das Kombi mit einem Namen gehofft. On the way out of town... |
