Alternator Connector Repair Kit
I knew the parts existed but had never seen anyone selling them. I only just saw these on eBay.
When I took apart mine many years ago the brass was corroded, and copper wire was corroded and also the crimped over part. In my case I left the wires crimped on and just solder them to the brass spade connectors and let the flux do the cleaning and the solder provide the better conduction. However, I could only clean the interior of the spade connectors the best I could. If there had been a kit available at a reasonable price, I likely would have bought it. In the attached picture I am not saying that is the only place to get them nor is this the best possible price on them. I was just the first source I found.

Good to know. That part is really tired on my SD. It’s 40 years old and it sees a lot of abuse down there.

Also, the 90-amp alternators that Eagle Eletric used to sell used the old connector.
