1982 300CD, W123, less air from vent after replacing blower motor brushes.
The motor sounds exactly the same as before replacing the brushes. The air is cold and the outside of the evaporator box feels cold. There's just less air coming out. (About 1/2 the amount of air)
Could it be that somehow there is a flap actuator that isn't letting the A/C air flow correctly? Are there any diagrams that show the path of airflow and where the vacuum actuators move the flaps? |

I figured out my problem! This is a random one. When I put the motor back together after replacing the brushes, I somehow reversed the polarity. Rather than taking the motor apart, to fix it, I reversed the polarity at the electrical connection and now I have freezing cold air in 95 degree heat outside.

Would you like to post numbers?
