should there be a gab on the SLS pump?

Should there be a gab between the cover and the base of the SLS pump? I rebuilt this, can't remember if there was a gab before... But I don't see any way to have them flush together?

I believe yes. Do a parts look up on our sponsors site to see an image of the pump.

Oh my! That's funny. There should be a copper or aluminum sealing washer on the top and bottom of the banjo, and the bolt should snug down. What you have there is a fountain.

LOL, just have them sitting there to keep them out of the way... have quite a bit going on with it at the moment...
