denso 7sb16c vs 7sbu16c compressor

So i need to replace the seals on my 98 ac compressoer. Works good but with a uvdye test i see shaft seal leak. I was looking aroun and see the "U" version is an updated version. Anyone swapped them and if the upgraded version is worth it?
