What was is no Longer
A long while back, I was involved in an accident which bent the condenser. I could not find any used examples, so left it. Moe Allen Auto Body ripped me off and didn't replace the broken auxiliary fan (I now see they also didn't fix the head light surround). At the time I just needed something, so ran it as is.
Now that the refrigerant has leaked out, like to get this resolved hopefully before class next Thursday. I been trying to track down a kit, but apparently Klima is no longer in business. Further, the condenser used here: parallel flow condensor installed in a W123 is also N.L.A.! Search - parallel flow condenser 14 So, here what is: Search - parallel condenser I don't trust economy, so was thinking 16" x 24", but then that doesn't leave much room for the hoses, right? Part of my issue is I don't think I have the best fabrication skills so scares me. Further, looks as if I have to pull the radiator after all, right? Thank you all for the help! ![]()

i ordered klima's kit a while back with the condenser kit too. i had to bug them for a month before they came up with all the parts because their website said "out of stock". they use a 16 x 20 condenser which fits perfectly and i don"t see how a larger one could be fit without cutting on the core support. i decided i wanted 2 condensers so i went on amazon and ordered a 16 x 20 "global air" condenser which is the exact same one klima uses. my friend didn't want to spend the money and wait around on klima so he ordered 2 of the condensers on amazon and had our local hose shop duplicate klima's hose design to go on his car. we used the mounting "tabs" from the original condenser and some aluminum from the hardware store and pop rivited everything together. the hoses hook right up to rollguy's lines or your original r4 setup's lines and drier.

Before condemning the shop, was it very obvious the condenser was leaking? Sounds like a slow non - obvious leak that they were probably trying to save you money on the benefit of the doubt.

I think his complaint was aux fan and light surround.

![]() ![]() The issue is that Amazon no longer carries it... Man, just not getting anywhere... Per the thread I posted, he got another 2 1/2"s more in there. Do you have any of the specifications, especially the brackets? Oh and the hoses don't scare me, as know of at least one hose shop here. ![]()

As an example of there greatness, they filled the cooling system and were then beyond mad when the water pump sprayed coolant all over the shop. It was beyond obvious the radiator made contact with the fan. The A/C leak is from one or both the valves. I have known about it for a while, but hoped the caps with rubber rings seal the system. However, I was wrong. Instead of fiddling around, it is time to go all out and get this system taken care of all at once.

Thank you!
![]() ![]() ![]() However, it isn't so much cutting as bending. Then once I have the brackets I have to some how come up with hardware to secure it all.

Per what BenzTurbo said, got me thinking I should check evilBay, and find a couple:
A couple inches less in height, but that give more room if I ever wanted to put in a transmission cooler. Also, the bottom isn't as efficient, right?

![]() I found the 16" x 20" before, and you are right. The one you picked is the same brand. It is therefore one inch wider and two inches shorter than stock. Think that have any affect on performance? I think not since parallel flow, right? Just want to be double sure before I pull the trigger... My Service Dog does a lot for me, so thus why I am even doing this, as I don't need A/C.
