W123 T-shirt!

I'm an active member on benzworld (W123 and W210 forums) but new to this site, though it looks like it will be extremely useful as I attempt to rehab a forgotten 78 euro 300D.

A few weeks ago I had the thought as I was trying to accelerate from a stop that it's ironic that it's called a 123 when it's so ridiculously slow.

Hey wait a minute, that would make a great T-shirt!

I'm a huge fan of a small gearhead shirt company called blipshift. They have original designs, two per week, and are made to order; after the sale ends designs are no longer available unless they are reprinted. I probably have about a dozen of their shirts. Since I'm not a graphic designer, I submitted my idea (rather than a complete design) and it has been realized by Ben Van Antwerp, a freelance artist who has done several of my favorites. I think it turned out great.

I don't make any commission from the shirt sales but I will be especially proud if the design ends up selling well. The shirt is available now until Thursday at 10pm, when the next design is revealed.

Got one for me and one for my dad. Blipshift has made a fortune off peach parts with this one and the Gimme 5, 5 cylinder engine shirt.

Damn, I saw the glow plug shirt was from last year. Maybe if enough people sign up to be notified of its re-release, they will sell it again. I gave my email address to be notified if it comes back out. Thats pretty funny, I also just got the current shirt.
