New primer pump but still leaks, what'd I do wrong?

I installed the new primer pump (with the black knob) but it still leaks fuel. Did I leave a gasket or washer out?

This is on my son's 123.

The ones I bought from the dealer did not come with a copper washer. That had to be purchased separately. This was several years ago though.

Or if you were like me, you did not get the washer fully seated and it is now deformed and leaking. I didn't figure this out till after I had bought a 2nd new pump thinking the first was NG.

I don't think you belong to a very exclusive club.

Yeah, it should come with a washer, everyone I've bought did and make sure it's seated properly.
