What size vacuum pump should I buy for A/C work?

I am going to embark on fixing the A/C of both my W123's. After reading and searching for 3 hrs on the boards, the A/C info is disparate and scattered so I'm going to ask, which vacuum pump should I buy from Amazon:

Robinair 15115 VacuMaster 1.5 CFM Single Stage Pump, 115 microns ultimate vacuum @ $84.50 or,

Robinair 15310 VacuMaster 3 CFM Single Stage Pump, 75 microns ultimate vacuum @ $105.73?

It's odd they show different micron ratings even though both are single stage pumps. The 1.5 will be fine for automotive use, no real advantage to the 3 in that application.

Either pump will be fine. The bigger one will just be able to pull down more quickly but as long as you evacuate for at least a half hour to a hour it should make no difference.

anybody wanna buy my old pump?

it's a 6cfm pump Ive had for 20+ years that still handles home systems down to 150 microns... (no automotive evac is getting below 1000 microns anyway...)
I was out and needed a pump for a job, so now I have a 7cfm pump, and will keep it in my truck, and I don't need the old 6 anymore.
$50?
