I've got a '95 E300D. It has a steel tranny cooler line which connects into the radiator on the back passenger side of the radiator, goes across the top of the rad, then down the driver's side back of the rad, makes a 90 and then there is a union to a flex hose.

There is a ton of corrosion on the last portion of the metal line before the union, and I'd like to replace this line before it starts to leak. Looking at the Electronic Parts Catalog on line, the only thing resembling this line I can find is A124 270 2896, (found on screen 12 of the tranny section) however the routing on the drawing does not match the real world, so I don't know if this is correct.

Have any of you 606 guys replaced this line?
