Glow plug: Bullet or Round tip?
Hello all:
In replacing a bad glow plug I noticed that the bad plug (Bosch France) was of a bullet styled tip looks like a .22cal bullet, smaller tapered tip than the diameter of the main shaft. My replacement is a good spare Behr original to the engine stamped W. Germany. It is a rounded tip pencil style, looks like a pushrod smooth and rounded to the same diameter of the main shaft. Any ideas as to the pros/cons of each style tip? Any issues is mixing styles? TIA

I think the German and French plugs will get along just fine

Thanks
Thanks Stevo, funny how the French one looks like a shell and the German one like a bomb...was hoping they could get along no need for a Maginot line at #3 cylinder
