Anti-lock light stays on.

I did some brake work, replaced 4 rotors, 2 calipers and pads, and the anti-lock light on the dash stays on.
Any ideas?

you have ABS in an 85 SD??? I've never seen one that early in a car that wasnt a euro...

did you damage/disturbe the anti-lock sensor attached to the caliper?

All 85 SD's have ABS.

Whoever did the work probably either didnt clean the ABS sensor, or somehow broke one of them.

I am currently having the same problem... I need to investigate it because those sensors cost approximately $200

ABS is for people [edited from women] who dont know how to drive. Then again so are automatics so I guess an SD is the right car for it!

I know when I was checking my ovp relay the light would come on when relay was out.Is a/c and tach working ? If not I would check the fuse on top of it. Does light come on Immediately or does it take a few seconds ?

Hi Jrglsg,
The tachometer, tripometer & odometer are not working. The AC crapped out on me ask well. My mechanic buddy tells me I need a new compressor, dryer and the AC control panel (forgot proper name of the panel with all the AC buttons on it) half works.

Check the fuse on top of the relay,I think its a 10a,should be near the Klima relay in the fuse box.Johnny
