I agree with Whunter on that one. If you dont take care of yourself, nobody will. Besides it sucks to be sick!

True..........I got frostbite swapping a B16A1 into my honda last year in January.............You have to know when you are pushing yourself too far....

Thats NOT an easy thing to see. Take my word on it. I'm 43 and I sometimes push myself too far at times.

Boy you stay in and get over this, don't rush it or you'll relapse, believe me it's worse the second time around.

There's plenty of time for Sady. She probably needs the rest from your hands anyways right now.

Actually Tom,
I think not only Sady Needs a break from his hands, but we too need a break. I for one am tired of being at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens. I dont know about you, but I have a crease in my a$$ from being at the edge of my seat all the time!!

Yeah, Sometimes you get to a point at which your just looking for something wrong. You start hearing things you never heard before. You wonder if it was there before or your just now noticeing it. I was always listening, touching and smelling to find something wrong. It's kinda like your on built in alarm system.

Ouch I have not gotten the flue in years but I remember all to well how you feel. Take a few weeks off from the car, it is to cold to work outside now. I don't do anything I don't have to unless it is at least mid 40's and sunny out. I am done with projects until it hits 60+.

This morning I woke up to a temperature of 33 degrees F!
Spring is coming!
Most of the snow has melted off my driveway, even where it's shady most of the time.

Update

Yeah, it was in the 50's today, So I figured today would be as good as any to work on Sady.

I took off the fan guard, and fan, with the top radiator hose, so that I could turn the engine over from topside. I removed the number 1 injector line, and turn the engine clockwise untill I saw fuel start to "well up" I tryed this many times, each time getting 19* BTDC, but it only happend every other time. Is this correct? I know it should be about 24* BTDC correct? but, should it be every revolution, or every other one?

yes it is off 5 degrees . but that does not necessarily mean that is the issue making it not driveable.
it could be off more with chain stretch. or there could be more issues compounding that problem. glad to here you are back at it .
keep it up

I still think you need to check and make sure your that when you get to the drip point with the IP, the #1 intake lobe is pointing up and not down. That's what happened to me, and it sure sounded like the car ran the same. C'mon Sady, you should be able to tell just by looking through the oil fill hole, but do check it. Good luck!
