Where was this station in Virginia? I live in Maryland and travel south to Richmond and Norfolk frequently. Would be good to know where I can get B2/20/100.

The B2 I found was in Harrisonburg, Va. I know there is Biodiesel available in Reedville, Va as well.

OK, at the risk of not doing a search first....

What are the added "lubricity benefits" of biodiesel and what will they do to help my engine?

Biodiesel is more of a lubricant than diesel, which is a very poor lubricant, especially without sulfur. This means less wear on your injection pump and injectors. You will notice less "clatter" as well.

What about Miami

Hey Guys!
I think I'd like to give this bio-diesel a try, but I would never attempt to make the stuff since I dont have the place nor the time to make it (funny thing is, the stuff would be so easy to get since my dad is the plant manager at a local rendering plant).

My question is, does anyone know if there is a biodiesel vendor in south Forida (mainly Miami or Ft. Lauderdale)

Other than biodiesel, are there any other lubricants that I can add to the tank to do the same thing?

looks like i got here just in time. i talked to a guy here in wi. who is a distributor. he told me a 55 gal barrell of b20 would be only 3.50 a gal which is 190$. this he said should be blended in 20% to my dino d.

biodiesel.org has a list of distributors and retailers around the country.

My personal opinion is that if you can get BD, then you should. It's a win-win for all involved, except maybe your bank account at first.

YES, just get a half litre of new Canola oil and put that in with every tank. all the benefits of the biodiesel lubricity without the high price. And it is a fuel too, so you shouldn't get any loss of fuel economy.

One was in Front Royal - $2.059/gal
Another was in Winchester, I think.

I got the impression that this is common at Liberty stores. If you see one check it out.

If it's B20, keep shopping. B20 is usually only 0.10 to 0.20 more than din-diesel.

$3.50 per gallon is more like a B100 price.
