Any company that wanted to buy Crysler (ha) just ain't right in the head. I have a 1995 140 chassis that does not rattle at all - 141,000 miles. If Mercedes quality is truly slipping, they will pay for it later. Unfortunately the customers that buy the cars will suffer also. To answer your question - it might be normal for the new Mercedes to rattle, but is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!
