One of the worst things about all of this is that though I've never installed a radiator, I'm confident I could have done it myself as I have performed many others repairs (adjust valves, new shocks, rack pin, new calipers, etc..). It's just that the radiator blew up over the weekend, I was stranded, needed to get it towed somewhere immediately, had never done this particular repair before and just didn't think I had the time to get it fixed right away. I also thought it wouldn't cost THAT much to get it fixed. Looking back on it now, it was a bad decision and if I think I can fix it, I'm never taking it to a mechanic again. Lesson learned. Thanks for all of your input.
