Coolant out of trans cooler?...Not necessarily as there are significant thermal and pressure changes that occur throughout normal operation. If there was water and/or coolant in the ATF it is a rather safe assumption it was from the transmission cooler in the radiator. If you have a coolant pressure tester you could pressure the cooling system and watch for coolant.
