Also check the clutch switch. Set parking brake (so it doesn't roll), then with the clutch pedal depressed, find the switch button and press it checking for squeaks. Mine was very noisy, took it off and used Deoxit fader/tuner cleaner and lubricant (any potentiometer or electronic cleaner and lubricant should be fine) on the plunger shaft, you can't really spray in the switch very well, so it's a bit messy. Work that a bunch of times to get the lube in there as best you can, you'll hear it getting quieter.

Clutch pedal felt and sounded much better after that, easy enough tasks except getting your head under the dash to see what to do.
Thanks for this. Only LPS 2 is a little tough to come by... is there a generic name for this type of lubricant? Ideally something I could buy over the counter.
