Yesterday I finally swapped the in tank filter for my 300d
I purchased by in January.

To make the job easier I purchased an ADBlue Filter tool that happened
to be the same size (46mm) as I needed for this filter.

To be honest I don't think I would have been able to remove the filter
with the tank in the car without it as I had exert a lot of force to break
it loose.

Looking at the picture attached it appears the wrong filter was installed.

Initially the part number for the old one came up as a "gas" filter
but the info I found is not conclusive.

Anyway, 290,000 miles and a new in tank filter.
