I bought a really nice one off a parts car along with a perfect footrest, entire set of seats all working and the best gray leather I've ever seen in a w126 in 20 years. In fact, the only thing wrong with the interior on this car was a small crack on the black dash. I took the entire interior and will refinish the wood for my car.

I nipped and picked over the body for three months and came up with a set of euro lights too. I also got the window motor, regulators and all the switches including the seat, headlights, ignition W/key, climate control and rolltop console unit. It all came to about 400 bucks. Now I have two nice sets of gray w126 leather.

All I need is a little warm weather to finish this up. Someday after this is finished I'll get back to the mirror issue to make sure I have a good one as backup.
