jimmypete, start the car and feeling the hoses is a great test. You will find the hose coming out of the head (by the oil filter shousing) is the first to heat up. From there, it goes into the firewall, down to the cabin heater (so you get heat faster), exits up the firewall to the monovalve, down to the aux pump, back to the engine.
I believe this is correct. I will check the hoses for heat movement next time I have a chance. I figure I'll run it for a while with the climate control turned off. That should leave the aux pump off. Once I feel heat on the back of the engine (the hose leaving the head) then I'll turn on the heat and feel the metal tubes and hoses for heat travel. It'll be next week before I can do that, but will report back. on my findings.
