Pull the back of the seat height adjuster from its locating tab (#1 in Fig. 48) in the back of the spring box.
Then pivot the adjusting lever up by the handle to release the lever (and the attached plastic cover for the seat adjustment assembly) from the grommet covered hole (#2 in Fig. 48) in the spring box.
Remove the assembly and set it aside. (Fig. 49)
Detach the inward plastic cover of the seat adjustment assembly in the same fashion.
Remove all six Phillip head screws (three per side) that mount the each of the seat fore-aft position adjustment tracks to the spring box.
Remove the screws in pairs, (the front pair, the rear pair and the middle pair) and reposition the tracks with the seat fore-aft adjusting lever as needed to expose the screws. (Fig. 50 & Fig. 51)
