The fronts are actually a metric dimension - works out to about 4 5/8". I am a bit embarassed to say this on a Mercedes forum, but I found a Radio Shack driver that fit perfectly. It was nominally a 5", but it was small and shallow, and was only $2!! I had one blown OEM front when I bought the car, and just wanted something cheap until I could afford to replace the pair with something really good. Ya know - it doesn't sound too bad! At least it's better than the one that fluttered like a piece of paper in the breeze!
