More has to do with your personal conditioning/factors than anything. In my Father's day - physical conditioning wasn't just a real known priority to the masses. My Father was never overweight, and was lean, but was definitely not 'in-shape' as many ppl are today.
Blaming bad seats in a Pontiac Catalina in 1960 for your driving fatigue was easy when the MBs were oh so perfect ergonomically.
Just driving, is awful stressful alone (you're tensed-up for the period of driving hours......) - regardless your age/weight/conditioning, OR what you're driving.
