Its actually very easy to do yourself, if you have it done by someone else.....chances are it will be all screwed up....

Just remove the 2 c panels, un hook the defroster....cut the glass out.....remove the chrome from old gasket....install new gasket around glass, press in chrome, put clothes line rope in the gasket....have a helper apply pressure on the outside......pull the rope out starting at the top center...and wa la....its installed...

Typically when a glass shop does the work.....they will attempt to hammer the chrome in last....big no no....

Also I have read that the Mercedes seals are no better then the repo's.....the mb seals have been sitting on a shelf for 20+ year and don't seem to hold up long...
