Had to put the trans swap on hold due to other life projects- but it's waiting for me when I get around to it.
On another note, I recently completed a 2000 mile road trip and clocked an average of 30 mpg with my auto trans and 2.88 rear end. Averaged between 60-65 mph most of the time. That's with 185 series tires aired to 35 psi, passenger mirror and antenna delete, no bumpers or a/c, EGR/ALDA blocked. Turns out the WVO drops mileage down a pretty consistent 3mpg as I was averaging 26-27 on straight veg.
