Hello,
new guy here. and new to MB cars.
I have always wanted a vintage MB and finally bought on a few months ago.
A 71 300 sel 3.5. Imported from Germany into New york in the 1990s by a Swiss Air pilot. Its a very complete well running car but rusty.
It looks better than it actually is, it would probably be considered a running driving parts car. However, I wanted a crash course in wrenching on one so I figured what the heck. I've done quite a bit of lurking and reading up on this model and various others. I figure I will repair this car until I find something else to get into or until i feel like tackling the rust is worthwhile.
