Thumbs up Zacharias Is Right!

I think that there isn't another automotive manufacturer out there that treats its "tinkering" customers with old cars like MBZ does. It is simply amazing that they provide us access to the Electronic Parts Catalog on-line for free and that we can just about order anything. It's the local dealers that choose not to carry products and parts and they set the final prices but we can still get almost anything. My son just obtained a 1979 Mustang and we went to the Ford dealer yesterday to ask about a front main seal and the dealership didn't even have his car listed in their system! ....... they couldn't even look up a single part number not even an oil filter! ..... and they sold something like 500,000 mustangs that year! MBZ is in league of their own when it comes to part catagorizing and availablity .... sure we pay for that from time to time with $2 o-rings and $200 fuel pumps ..... but it is worth it to fund the support they do provide us "tinkerers".
