I agree with the above post. Don't buy this car unless you are willing to expend lots of time and money keeping it going. These old SL's are not good daily drivers. Gas mileage is poor. Parts are expensive. Old parts break often. Old rubber and plastic just crumbles. Get your wife a 2nd hand Toyota.
