Oregon has tax vouchers like the ones in Indiana talked about above. What really pissed me off about Oregon when I use to travel up there was filling up at night. Local gas stations would advertise the price of regular diesel, and fill it for you... all fine... but at night these places were closed. The only places open where truck stops, they would advertise the price of the diesel with the voucher, making it imposable to shop for the best price. I stopped buying diesel in Oregon at night. I could fill up in Yreaka and drive to Corvallis, drive around where ever I needed to go, and then fill up in the daylight at a normal gas station, and almost make it all the way back to Sacramento.
Why is it that CA, one of the most restrictive states, is easier to fill up in then Oregon? ARG
