Yes, I will have my colleagues at the lab run some analysis tests to find out what type of fluid it is and I will also take a sample of the black grease and have them prepare it on a slide so that they can stain it and analyze that as well :-) just kidding. Larry and MGburg: both excellent ideas, as I am tired of trying to fix problems by blindly throwing in new parts or replacing parts that have nothing to do with the problem itself (hence, my previous post about my a/c); I will clean up the area with Easy-Off (that stuff works great) then I will slide the cardboard box underneath the leaking area to identify the the fluid and pinpoint the source of the leak. Thanks guys, will keep you updated
