I have a problem understanding . I have neither a 124 I have a 140 ( I think its a 93 400 SEL ) , and I have a V8 not an I-6

I meant to say that 124 240 2617 is for 124 V8
and 140 V8, but
not the I-6. Therefore 124 240 2617 interchangeable for the 140 chassis. Benz used a LOT of different part numbers and there is a huge interchange range between different chassis. Which can lead to a lot of confusion....
