How big is the hole? I would think you can easily repair it. The intercooler only sees about 15 PSI of air pressure at the most. Plastic parts can even be repaired by melting using a hot screwdriver tip or knife blade. If you post a photo of the damage maybe we can suggest a way to repair it.
