Assuming you have the instrument cluster out already. Insert ignition key and turn to position 1. The electrical pig tail can be unplugged from the back of the lock cylinder housing.
Loosen the collar securing the lock cylinder to the steering column. Slide out of the way. Key still in position 1. Look to the under side of the lock cylinder (in the area once covered by the collar)for a detant. Press the detant in and at the same time slide the lock cylinder out of the steering column. ((You may have to remove two nuts securing the steering column. These are just inside the lip of the instrument cluster opening.
This may give you a little more flexibility removing the lock cylinder.))
Two phillips screws secure the switch to the cylinder housing. Remove old switch. Install new and reassemble.
