The normal flow has been from the rear to the front, Try a counterflow (from the front to the rear) of pumping at a higher rate to clean the walls. If the line was larger, you could put what we call a "PIG" in the line and scrape the walls clean. The PIG has what may look like wiper blades on the surface that clean the walls. Larger lines would be much bigger.
