Paul, thanks. I'll dig a bit too, right after the drywall job my wife has me on!
It sure would be fun to have the option of engaging the 1st gear without all that shifter manipulation everytime you stop. The wife is used to the gutless start, so I could just flip the switch when I drive the car, and edge out the minivans at the red lights.
Heck, if this works, I might reopen the differential replacement project, and turn this thing into a highway cruiser after all these years. Nah; i'll just use it as a red light bandit!
