Congrats!! I too am in the market for a new job. I've been applying at all the local dealerships trying to get my foot in the door as a service advisor. It seems like one of the few jobs that pays what i need it to pay, is in the automotive field, and actually has steady income(unlike sales which is feast or famon). Got two interviews tomorrow, one is at a VERY busy toyota dealership, i definitely have my fingers crossed on that one.

Kicker for me is, while i do have a degree in B.A., as well as experiance managing a buy here pay here dealership, i don't have any direct service advising experience, and i'm competing with people that have years of experience being a service advisor. Hopefully my degree and nice smile mean something! I also tend to interview very well so that is also a plus, but i know at my dealership when i was hiring experience meant much more to me than a degree or a nice smile. We'll see how it goes.....

Once again congrats!
