W123 Electric Aux. Fan Upgrade

I know some you has prob'ly did this modification already but I just wanted to show everybody what I did this morning....I'm just bored....

Well anyway, this larger diameter fan is out of an '87 E260, W124 that I found in the bone yard and installed it in my '85 300D, W123 to replace the smaller diameter aux. fan in front of the condenser.

With a little modification and bending on the driver side bracket, it will work but I have to grind a the grille a little bit so it won't rub and chaff on the fan blade hub when I shut the hood down.

For those of you who do not want to grind the grille, you can use a more expensive Bosch brand which is thinner and skinnier but the same diameter so grinding the grille is not necessary, but in my case, this is the cheaper ACM/Germany brand, which is thicker, so I have to grind the grille.
