That's a tough question...

I just had one tie-rod replaced on my 1987 300D Turbo and the labor was $38 (about 1/2 hour of work)...

I replaced the belt myself...Just loosen the tensioner (or remove it if necessary) and fish it in according to the diagram...about 1 hour with rest stops ...and I didn't remove the fan or the shroud, but it's tight in there!
