While driving the '85 this evening I noticed my brake warning light had come on, then when I applied the brakes they felt softer than usual but still worked. As I continued to drive (using the transmission to slow down) the light began to dim, then went out and the brakes seemed to return to normal as well. I got home and checked the fluid, but it is full to the max mark (although a bit dirty, I need to flush the system). Anybody have any idea what is going on?
