I've done a good bit of searching on the forum but can't seem to find the answer to this problem.
After completeing all of the PM on my 300SD (fluids, filters, valves, ALDA, purge), I still notice some crappy throttle response, and I believe it's due to excess play in the throttle linkage. I've come to this conclusion because the cruise control (still functioning at 273k
) produces more throttle response on accelleration than my right foot does.
I really don't feel that comfortable with just going in there and adjusting the rods willy-nilly, so I was wondering if anyone knew the correct order of adjustments or had specific measurements for lengths or gaps in certain areas.
Also, I have the vacuum line at my EGR valve blocked, but is there anything else I need to do to fully disable that system?
