How long does it take those to get to 140? Is it like with a OM617 where it pulls like hell to 90 and then it takes forever to get to 100 (seems to be my top speed, maybe 102 or so) or is it just kind of a constant pull... I'd like to drive one of those one day.

There's a video of a european spec 560SEL that seemed to haul ass, it went to 60 mph from rest in 6 seconds...very respectable even today, especially for a 4000 pound luxury car.
