rug doctor

I rent the rug doctor units from the grocery store, Lowes, etc

For $20 you get the main unit, and for another $3 you get the upholstery attachment which is hand held and works perfect for this.

Be carefull on the chemical you use, I would only use somehting very weak. You might just try a very mild soap and hot water at first.....

I have ruined a carpet on an Accord once, the chemical brought out a dark brown stain I couldn't get rid of. It kind of has done it to my Windstar but I have to clean that 'sum *****' every 6 months due to the milk spills, juice, ice cream, etc.. choose your poison..
