so i fixed the diapram on my 76 240d injection pump and have installed the pump. nothing was moved on the pump or the car while i fixed it. i have since then gotten the car to run, but extremely rough. i was told to turn the pump in one direction or the other to fine tune it. is this correct? i am assuming the car would not run if the car or the injection pump where accidentaly moved. is this also correct?
