i dont know what state or fedal agency polices this kind of thing but i know this is the reason you cant put home heating oil into your diesel with out looking over your sholder (as you also pour in a little red dye to fool state troopers hehehehehe)
Right on. Places that sell dyed diesel and kerosene are NOT supposed to sell them to people without a license. If tax is not paid, using it is against the law, and the place selling it to people without a valid license can have their licence pulled and a big fine
Of course, I heard there are people in the NE using home heating oil as diesel fuel. So, if you are not stopped, and nobody squeal you are fine. I look at them in the same group as those that are using WVO or SVO with no road tax paid.
