With the small size of the rear resevoir chamber I usually top up the resevoir after every second bleeding. You very likely bled the system dry, very easy to do because the rear chamber is near impossible to see. In order to fill the rear chamber you have to fill the res to the top, it will look like it wants to overflow, just pour very slowly.
