I have been using the standard fitted cover from the dealer for years.

It may be a matter of personal preferance but I like the fitted cover a lot better. It completely covers the car and it takes one hell of a breeze to blow it off. Even on windy days, it usually stays completely on without a problem.

I never put the cover on the car when it is dirty and keep the cover itself clean by washing it periodically.
